APU offers several scholarships for international students, including:
APU International Students Scholarships & Merit Awards
This is a program offered by Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) Malaysia for new international students from all countries. The scholarship is given in the form of a tuition fee discount based on academic performance and is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. The scholarship can be extended every year if the recipient maintains a minimum CGPA of 2.50.
International students are eligible to apply for this scholarship if they meet APU’s entry requirements and have academic results that meet the criteria. The scholarship amounts to a 10%, 20%, or 30% tuition fee discount, depending on the academic achievement. For example, applicants with A-Level AAA, IB 37 points, or 9A in O-Level/IGCSE qualify for a 30% tuition fee discount. Lower academic results may qualify for 20% or 10%.
In addition to academic performance, applicants with international-level sports achievements (such as Olympics, SEA Games, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, or World Cup) are also considered for a special Merit Award. Here is how to apply:
- Open to new international students from all countries.
- Meet APU’s entry requirements.
- Have academic results that meet the scholarship criteria (e.g., A-Level, IB, STPM, UEC, IGCSE/O-Level, or equivalent qualifications).
- Merit Award is also available for students with international-level sports achievements.
