Looking for an Overseas Master’s Scholarship? Start with SatuBeasiswa Kemdiktisaintek

Searching for an overseas master’s scholarship can feel like having too many browser tabs open at once: universities, destinations, academic documents, language requirements, and moving deadlines. A useful place to organise the search is the SatuBeasiswa Kemdiktisaintek listing filtered for master’s study and overseas options.[1]

The portal does not replace the organiser’s own terms and conditions. It can, however, provide a structured starting point for finding opportunities and deciding what to research next.

Treat filters as a map, not a final answer

On the search page, select S2 (master’s level) and Luar Negeri (overseas). When results appear, do not rely only on the best-known scholarship name. Read each listing carefully: who runs it, what it is designed to fund, the relevant country or university, its timeline, and the documents it requests.[1]

For example, the SatuBeasiswa catalogue lists Beasiswa Pendidikan Indonesia (BPI) for S1, S2, and S3, covering domestic and overseas study with a full-funding label. The catalogue also displays cycle status: on the page checked for this article, BPI showed a 30 June 2026 deadline and was marked completed.[2] A promising-looking listing, then, is not automatically an open application.

A quick checklist for your shortlist

When you find a relevant programme, record five items:

  • the programme name and official link;
  • the matching degree level, subject area, and destination;
  • application status and deadline;
  • funding components described officially;
  • required documents and selection stages.

Then move to the organiser’s official page. Confirm current rules directly, especially citizenship criteria, age limits, Letter of Acceptance requirements, language scores, eligible institutions, and any costs not explicitly named as covered. Do not assume every scholarship uses the same arrangement for tuition, living costs, visa, insurance, or travel.

Start early so you are not simply racing a deadline

Early preparation gives you room to choose academically suitable programmes, request transcripts, prepare a CV, strengthen your personal statement, and check language requirements. If your documents are in Bahasa Indonesia, ask the university or organiser which translation format it accepts before arranging translations.

RIM Education can help you build a university and destination shortlist, understand the study-application process, and review document readiness for an overseas master’s plan. Contact RIM Education to talk through your next steps.

**Important:** Portal listings and detailed programme pages can change. Always check the current status, requirements, benefits, and deadline directly on the programme’s official page before applying.[1][2]
