StreaMER [now RIM On Demand™] Wins Product Award at African Conference
At an awards ceremony in Lagos, Nigeria – complete with traditional entertainment and many attendees wearing traditional African garb – StreaMER [now RIM On Demand™] received the Best Personalized Information Management Product Award at the Records and Information Management Awareness (RIMA) Foundation annual conference. It was a case of the latest in high-tech coming face to face with some of the world’s oldest traditions.
The fiercely contested and highly valued RIMA awards are recognized symbols of excellence and innovation in records and information management. Past winners include Microsoft, IBM, McAfee, HP, Open Text, Oracle and Xerox. The RIMA Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting access to information and raising public consciousness of the need for proper management and security of records in Nigeria and all of Africa.
In the lead-up to the August 29 awards ceremony, Bill Horn of Cohasset Associates demonstrated RIM On Demand™ at the RIMA Conference Exhibition where the records management education portal received high interest and praise as a cost-effective method of providing RIM education to the masses.

In addition to attending the conference and exhibition, Mr. Horn also delivered four days of Records and Information Management (RIM) training to records management professionals in the banking, manufacturing and petroleum industries.
